I admit it. Star Wars Ain't Perfect. To start with, Jedi are supposed to take strategy training at the temple, though I have a feeling MOST of them failed that class. And not all of the Jedi involved in the war were made Generals, quite a few of them were, in a word, just 'troops'. AND even after all that FAILED training who the HELL would put them in charge anyway?!(sorry, if i'm contradicting myself) But it just seems stupid, I mean the Star Wars Universe IS a FICTIONAL world and has MANY inconsistences, (commenly called recons). (They're are like an opening for fans that will probably argue about them for ages or untill George Lucas himself sets it right!) |

Perspectives I agree with what you said and with what the characters (especially GT) said, but remember, these characters are ten years old and have spent their entire lives training to be perfect soldiers. Bitching is part of that. Not a part that the Kaminoans would be big on, but they're just the cloners, not the soldiers. And, let's be fair, GT isn't exactly Mr. Optimist. Thanks for commenting. |

Jesus Christ, can you not just simply leave the fucking story alone? As for the comment previously about Obi-Wan not contacting the Kaminoans, do you really expect Lucas and the rest of the team that work on the movies to include every minor fucking detail? That would not only make the movie run for an extra few hours, but give you bitches something else to moan about. As for the clones' bitching being a part of their 'training' it's obvious that you know aboslutely nothing about the series or simple fucking concepts like discipline, something that these soldiers would have plenty of. They would be professional enough to not act like the fuckwits you believe them to be. I'm enjoying this comic, so do kindly shut the fuck up. And the next time you want to question the Jedi, just remember one thing, despite all the different factions that pass through the galaxy during the course of time, the Jedi have outlasted any and all factions. Need I teach you faggots about how the Jedi slaughtered the Mandalorians (the race that adopted Jango Fett), I included that to save you the embarassment of admiting that you have no idea about the series. Next time, don't fucking bother, you are only insulting yourselves. |

Thanks for your Interest The goal of this comic, is to create a set of different characters who interact with the characters already in the series in a manner consistent with the movies (yes, I've read some of the books, but they vary between quite good and effective doorstops). All I'm doing is changing the perspective. Throughout movies 2 and 3, there are no (besides Amidala) non-Jedi protagonists. Here I'm looking at how someone on the outside might look at the Jedi. And, at the same time, I'm coming up with an argument for why the rest of the universe was so willing to turn on/abandon/forget the Jedi who 'protected peace in our galaxy' over a period of twenty-thirty years. Please note: words said by characters do not equal words said by me. I've written, elsewhere, characters who were fanatics, homophobes, total bastards and evil, I'm none of those. I've also written characters a good deal better than myself. I don't uphold either the ideals, or the follies of my characters, because they're just characters. Thanks for your interest. |

Nice argument here! I have been highly enjoying this. And ecarden, I like your rebuttal. This IS an interesting point of view that you've taken upon yourself to tell, and I like the dialogue between the clones. Very smooth, and I believe that you've done a good job so far at displaying the reasons that the Jedi were disliked. Also... it's always bothered me that Geonosis became a massive land battle. Why the hell would you land troops when you've got aerial capability? It's like if London had gotten a bunch of kids with slingshots shooting at the planes during the blitzkrieg. |

Agreed It's made even worse as we watch massive ships land, drop off troops and... Do nothing. Thanks for commenting. |
